Following recent Press coverage, we can confirm that Christine Convy and Angela Paterson of Dunedin Advisory Ltd have been appointed as joint Liquidators of ‘Clarks on Lindsay Street’ which has traded in Dundee since August 2011.
The liquidation is a result of prolonged closure of the premises due to government COVID-19 restrictions in the hospitality sector. Angela Paterson commented, ‘With still no end in sight as to when live music venues such as Clarks might be able to trade profitably again, and notwithstanding social distancing measures and restricted opening hours, the directors made the difficult decision to cease trading.’
She added, ‘Regrettably 14 members of staff have been made redundant through no fault of their own and we will be assisting them with support and compassion in their claims for statutory entitlement from the government.’
